Bone Tiki with Patu Pendant on Black Adjustable Cord.
Size (mm): 67H x 34 W.
This bone carving is a beautiful piece of Maori jewellery. This hand-carved Tiki is holding a Patu and has Paua shell eyes. Supplied loose in a plastic bag. Each piece is individually carved so slight variations can occur.
The Tiki represents the human form and one's ancestors. Traditionally passed from parent to child or used for protection and good luck. The Patu that the Tiki is holding is a Maori weapon in the form of a short club made of stone or bone.
