This greenstone necklace is a beautiful piece of Maori jewellery. Carved from genuine Nephrite Jade. Makes a wonderful Kiwiana gift or NZ souvenir. This Maori necklace is strung on a traditional black wax cord. The height that the pendant hangs at can be adjusted using the sliding knots. Each carving is supplied loose in a plastic bag. As each piece is individually carved slight variations can occur.

The circular shape represents evolution as a process of transformation from death to birth, ending, and beginning, as a circle has no beginning and no end.
