This bone carving pendant is a beautiful piece of Māori jewelry. The design is inspired by the distinctive spiral motifs from Māori tattooing and carving. The beautiful Pāua shell inlay adds colour and adds to the design impact.  Supplied loose in a cellophane bag. Each piece is individually carved so slight variations can occur. Comes on a black adjustable cord.  

The Manaia is a symbol of protection and acts as a guardian against evil. 

The Hook shape is good for catching good fortune and for safe travel over water.
